Pulse/Heartbeat Sensor
Pulse/Heartbeat Sensor
Why not display the value of 98% oxygen
Re: Pulse/Heartbeat Sensor
sx3374,
The PSO2 code still leaves lots to be desired.
It is supposed to a "ratio of ratios". Instead the code is just a ratio of IR over Red.
The PSO2 signal is not that exciting a signal because with reasonably healthy people it will be 98-100 percent and NEVER VARY.
It is possible to de-saturate down to somewhere around 90% (I've read). I have qualitatively confirmed this by holding my breath, but of course I never got a good quantitative measurement worked out.
We're really interested in your code if you get this going though ...
