RSS feed for the forums

It'd be really nice if this forum had an RSS feed, or that you use a blog to post new items and news.

And I'd like a pony.

I know as a tech guy I'm supposed to be more on the ball. C'est la vie.
I've got a new site that is languishing in website Pergatory, waiting to go online, with a blog on the front end where I can gossip about the rest of the Arduino universe.
The shop is full of stuff waiting to get photographed and up on the site too.

Send me email and tell me how the RSS feed thang works - I'm too busy to figure it out right now.

As a somewhat pathetic stopgap measure here's a teaser.

I did a swap with ogilumen for some neon (nixie) stuff - still in the box.
New P4B boards are shipping. - They fit the cable header.
I've got new boards called USB BUB that replace the FTDI cable for cheaper with more functionality.
Working on a 168protoboard, also 168 board with relays on it.
Sanguino is in my sites. - I think this one makes more sense than the atmega128 right now.
My best helper/packer/organizer just got back to town from her art residency where she's been making sculpture.
Posted a capacitance meter that I wrote for my classes on the Arduino.cc tutorial page http://arduino.cc/en/Tutorial/CapacitanceMeter
Tweaked a few reference pages at same site
Ponies up on the website soon,

Paul

thanks for the update, Paul! I'm looking forward to your version of Sanguino.

The RSS feed is just a smple XML format that allows someone to follow the forum without checking in constantly to look for new posts. You are using phpBB- here's one mod to allow RSS .. but there are plenty more (depending on what version you are using).

Of course, your new website (joomla?) will probably have RSS support built-in.

Thanks for the link - I'll try and upload it and see if it works. The new site is OS Commerce, which is really just php scripts. Don't know about RSS. I'll ask my web coach about it.

OK I've heard the nag, and will see if I can get the RSS mod installed. I've had some practice on modding the forum since I had to put in the anti-spam registration question. It was a simple little mod that took about half hour to modify five files or so, and then three hours to find the fact that I had to "empty a cache" to make it work.

It all worked in the end though.

Also big changes coming in all areas of the website, and big announcements too. I'm going to put a blog too, where I can shoot off my impolitic mouth, and stuff my foot in it on a weekly basis.

You want a new forum topic, under "Lounge" or just "Miscellaneous"

I'll just put it up, and see if anyone responds. I can always delete it if it's seeing no traffic
