BB Leo power rails

Post by jhughes1010 »

I'm powering my project with a 5V regulator (bypassing barrel connector) on a BB Leo. Is there something special I need to do to get the power rail section to function? I put my 5V/GND connections there, but no power LED.

I see a little solder pad shorting area in the power rails section, but there aren't any instructions that I've found on doing anything with that.

The solder jumper should be shorted if you use the power rail pins.

You can see it in the schematic on github which is linked to on the product page. Also you can just probe the pins and and pads with meter to quickly see what is going on. If you don't have a meter, please buy one, you can't get far without one, as it's impossible to see electricity, at least in less than the 10 kV range.

I took a look at the Eagle schematic this morning (maybe too early) and missed the solder jumper, but on second examination... it's right there.

Issue is resolved :)
