RBBB with onboard USB

Post by dufarb »

I would be really interested with a board similar to the RBBB (which is great) with onboard USB to plug the board directly into a USB port. I was also thinking of a small converter similar to Sparkfuns Breakout Board for FT232RQ USB to Serial http://www.sparkfun.com/commerce/produc ... ts_id=8551

I'm trying to do a board swap with the Iduino people to cross represent our products. Either that or I'm going to engineer something similar.

The serial converter to replace the cable is on its way too.

I'd say engineer something similar without the USB Jack, plug the board directly into the port. Lower costs, easier use. I like the design of the RBBB nice and clean, and easy to customize.
