I probably zapped it in new page programming. Time for a new version too though. We have some new hardware suggestions.
Dataman's key insight (among tons of grueling work - reports of 5 hr debug sessions - yikes!) was that the reversed data for every other row - because of the chip layout, could be handled in this incredibly elegant manner, just be sending every other byte out MSB, instead of LSB.
