BUB was an attempt to create a product with a sarcastic name. Am I allowed to insult my own products?
Plus it was short - and kind of snappy - well maybe just short. Like I said, it was an experiment.
You can check a dictionary of slang, and the term is described as a term of endearment, but when I was growing up it always had an ironic or sarcastic edge to it.
So there you are - probably the risk of buying products from artists
