Re: Compilation errors LibHumidity and LibTempTMP421

Paul, Thanks for the reply. Through some trial and error I think I have identified the problem. When I download the temperature sensor library from GitHub to my macintosh its comes down as a folder labeled: moderndevice-LibTempTMP421-8458187 I put this folder in my Arduino/libraries/ folder, as inst...

Re: Compilation errors LibHumidity and LibTempTMP421

I just noticed that someone posted the same issue on the Adafruit forum as I just posted here, and they haven't found an answer over there yet either. Wonder if this is related to the new 1.0.1 version of the IDE. My directory structure is as follows for each of the libraries: /Users/dave/Documents/...

Compilation errors LibHumidity and LibTempTMP421

I just purchased the MD0530 temperature/humidity sensor and the MD0545 temperature sensor. I downloaded the sample code from GITHUB to the Arduino 1.0.1 IDE, but when I try to compile the code to upload to an Arduino Uno from my mac I get errors. For MD0530 I get 'LibHumidity' does not name a type. ...

Re: RBBB and USB BUB II - serial port

Thanks for the reply. I downloaded the FTDI driver and now have been able to select a virtual port(/dev/tty.usbserial-A4011723). The Blink sketch compiles fine but when I upload to the Arduino board I get an error message 'Problem uploading to board. See http://www.arduino.cc/en/Guide/Troubleshootin...

RBBB and USB BUB II - serial port

I just put together the RBBB kit, connected the BUBII to it,downloaded ARDUINO 1.0.1 and tried to upload the blink sketch from my Macintosh to make sure everything was OK. In the Arduino IDE, I set the board to Arduino Uno and the programmer to AVRISP mkII. Are these the correct settings? The proble...

Re: Wind Sensor

I am wanting to use this wind sensor to make 200-m deep atmospheric soundings from a tethered balloon. Before ordering the sensor I would like to know if there is a new version coming out soon. It appears that the current version has to be calibrated for different ambient temperatures. That wouldn't...
