will RTS reset BBB

Paul, I'm looking at alternatives for serial programming. I found the schmart serial adapter and have been able to use it to program only by pressing reset at the correct time. Which is just as the upload says uploading file name etc. It will reset on the first time using RTS. I mean only the first ...

arduino software

I've been trying to get arduino working on my vaio laptop with Windows ME. Ver 17 didn't work. so i have loaded ver 9 after some forum searching. But it still seems to be unusable. A lot of jumpyness, a lot of extra unexplained sketches started. I haven't been able to find a better version, or even ...

Re: running two independant processes

This is an old question from 2008, but it wasn't answered in terms of his code. What This program needs is to test the flag state before it changes the flag or the last time. Otherwise, it will reset the last time during the second test, and the greenled will constantly be set high. If it didn't sta...

Re: usb bub setup and software

Paul, Thanks for your previous response. I would like to go deeper. I have been using AVR studio to compile asm and C code. BUB offers me the ability to program without needing my STK500. I can take arduino hex files and load them via ISP and STK. But can not load studio 4 hex files via BUB and ardu...

usb bub setup and software

I just purchased the USB BUB and want to use it to connect to a stand alone AVR project to get reports and send instructions. I have been using the at90s2313, but have migrated it to attiny2313. 1) what drivers or software is needed to use the BUB with windows? I've downloaded VOC and D2XX from FTDI...
