I think the sustain is built into the voice, so you just have to choice voices (see ProgramChange()) that have a high sustain level like organ, violin, synth, brass and flutes. There are probably more.

With the ESP you can just run the battery to the sensor Vin and GND. Then connect the GND to ESP and also hook up however you are powering the ESP. If your run both ESP and Rev P from the 9V it's going to die fairly quickly. Give me a week or so and I can look over the code and post something for 3....

A 9V battery is not that great a choice for powering the sensor unless you are just sampling once in a while and then shutting the sensor down. The sensor draws 30 mA which will drain a 9V in about 500 mAH so it would last about 16 hours tops depending on the battery and a lot of other factors. If y...

JohnLPoole, A lumber yard bought a lot of sensors from me to try the same thing. People don't report on their projects usually though, so I can't vouch for the results. Somewhere in the 1-2 watt (so ~ 10mA) range. Because the sensitivity depends upon the geometry of your power cord, it's impossible to put a more accurate number on this. Use the ESP Dev Module for development on Flux 32 boards. The default options work just fine.

You can probably run the module at different frequencies as long as the serial port is set up for midi speeds (31250)

Are you comfortable with a little smd rework? It just involves swapping one resistor and adding another I believe.

The JeeLabs shop does not have any modified Rev P. sensors. Working on next revision now that will have more empirically derived ambient correction. Basically trimmed offset resistors, plus some other things. Shipping to Germany depends on method. You can get things there in 3 days but it’s expensiv...

MendipMac, I'm not a betting man but I would bet you're going to find that that boost circuit is dragging 3.3V down, so do check that. That is the reference for your ADC so you'll probably need to alter the math. The setup you have is not going to be viable long term, a 9V only provides about 700 mA...

For the zero wind value - use a volt meter and measure the voltage with glass over the sensor, but don't lay the sensor flat against a table, angle it upward so sensor is in air on all sides.
