When will my order ship?

Modern Device ships all in-stock orders as soon as possible. The vast majority of orders are shipped within 2 business days, but due to variations in volume we can’t guarantee 100% of orders will be fulfilled in that time. We’re a small shop and your order is very important to us. If you don’t receive a confirmation of your order shipping within a few days, please drop us a line.

When will I get email?

You will receive email after the order has been received and after the order ships. Also if the shipping on your order is delayed you will receive email.

What is First Class International shipping?

First Class International works through the United States Post Office in conjunction with other national postal services. It is a great bargain but there is no tracking available on packages. Delivery is generally between 1 to 3 weeks. 6 or even 8 weeks is not unknown. In our experience the package usually shows up but it may take a while. If you need tracking or insurance, please use Priority Mail International.

What is Priority Mail shipping?

Priority Mail works through the United States Post Office in conjunction with other national postal services. It is a more expensive (by about $15) than first class service but there is tracking available on packages. the quality of tracking varies a little bit from country to country with some countries providing detailed tracking and others only providing news of the package entering customs and then being delivered. Delivery is generally between 7 days and 10 days, although longer delivery times occur.

I’m ordering for a school or institution; do you accept Purchase Orders?

Modern Device happily accepts purchase orders from academic institutions and other larger organizations, but please email first to confirm arrangements: support@moderndevice.com.
